Very moldy!! Staff told us it was just leaky pipes. I guess those pipes have been leaking for some time. Rooms needed updating and good cleaning. Dust was thick on lamps and windows. Will not go back. Staff told us the owner also owns the Comfort Suites down the street. Will not stay there either.
Dead bolt locked on room when checking in and being made to wait 3 pillows on a king size room supposed to be 6 by all hotel standards reported to choice hotels
Decent hotel, clean. Outside could use some tlc but it's decent and affordable for Pierre. A block away from the Capital. Great location.
Wow. Where do I start. First impression is that of a homeless shelter. It is located behind other businesses. Did not have a welcoming feel. The lobby was very stuffy and had a strong odor of oil or something mechanical. The A/C was out in the lobby. Leaking pipes in the hall. There were fans everywhere to try and dry up the wet carpets. Hallway area had a smell of rotting garbage. Staff told us that there was mold in the walls. That would explain the headache I got. Got to the room and it had clean bedding but that was it very thick dust everywhere. The windows had not been cleaned in sometime. The breakfast selection was a lot of starchy foods, cereal, oatmeal, bagels and muffins. No yogurt or fresh fruit.
Hotel is in serious need of a renovation. A/C was broken for main areas, smoke/fire alarm was broken in our hotel room. Dirty towel from previous guest was on floor of bathroom the entire 3 days we stayed there. No one was around to restock breakfast so I made myself at home and restocked so guest could eat. When I called to reserve room was told they had no rooms available. Called back again a short while later and rooms were suddenly available. Showed up and the reservation did not exist but luckily had my confirmation number.
