Nice but old. The rooms need to be updated for the price they charge. They smell old. They are ok clean and nice people run it.
This place needs to be condemned. Electrical outlets are unsafe and don't work. If you want hot water, its only available from 2am to 5am (if you're lucky), filthy carpets, lumpy saggy beds, room smells like mold, finger nail polish splattered on the wall with glass particles dried in it, poor ventilation, bugs and roaches. Sidewalks and outside maintenance are dangerous and very unsafe. Motel owners/managers are very unprofessional and name call tenants with racial remarks and allow drugs/meth on the premises. My review of a 1 star is overestimating this poor excuse of a motel, when it should be .01 at the very least. Disgusting, dirty, unsanitary and unsafe for human beings.
Comfortable and quiet. Very low rates. It's no Hampton but worked for me.

I was a month to month resident here at the nicest suite they had available. I resided there for four months. I was an excellent tenant that kept to myself and paid my bills. I left the apartment in better condition than when I moved in. When I moved in I spent several hours cleaning the bathroom, kitchen sink, counters and sweeping cockroaches off the floors and from under the furniture and fireplace. I moved out in December. I am still waiting to receive my $800 deposit back. I have contacted the owner several times and have been more than kind and understanding towards them as they have given me the run around. I am now proceeding to file a claim against them, as they have by far exceeded the 45 days allotted to them by the SD state legislator for which to return my deposit. The owners wife, is very flaky and unprofessional. As a business woman myself I can say I have never dealt with a customer in such an unresponsive, unprofessional manner. They are obviously trying to scam me. Please note this owner owns multiple properties in Pierre, SD as well as Additional properties in Arizona. Their names are Rick and Anna Jensen.
