The overall is pretty good. Clean rooms, clean beds, excellent hot tub and pool. There were a couple things though, my room has a fire sprinkler system that's covered in plastic. The shower head was way to short for me and was falling apart, and the tub had a big stain on the bottom. For the tv, I understand it's a hotel but people want to have access to use the tv with a game system or computer. There was no vga connector so computer was out. When you turn to different input you can't get the input menu off the screen besides turning off the tv and back on.
This is a nice hotel, but showing some age. The air conditioning in our room was weak and not really up to the challenge of cooling the room. On the other hand, the breakfast served was excellent.
I work for a company in Pierre a few times a year, and they have an arrangement with Governor's Inn for my lodging. The rooms are clean, the people are nice, plus they have an exercise room and pool area. Breakfast is good, and overall it's a good experience staying there.
Nice, clean place. Good for kids and front desk is very helpful. Parking is very good and close to a few good places to eat.
Old, very outdated establishment. The floors and decor are worn down and the shower only had a trickle. I would not recommend this place to anyone until it's been updated!
