Fast, friendly service and great selections of yummy food! Be sure to try the prime rib. It was delicious!
Went there for breakfast the day before pheasant opener after 24hr road trip. The owner - Les did a good job on the simple breakfast but a big table delayed the meal a long time. Got a hunting license and game warden pointed out they started the license before hunting season opened so double check. Seemed like it was first time doing one for clerk. On the other hand, it's 15 miles to Pierre....
We ate there twice this weekend with 11 in our group. Service and food were fantastic! Ribs, steak, burgers, and the best prime rib we've ever had. Food came fast even though they were packed on Sat. Not sure how there are any bad reviews on this place on here but this place should be a 4.5 star average for sure!

I have always enjoyed the Outpost and have recently begun going more frequently due to an increase in competent and friendly staff: Charlie, Vince and the other guy are all great bartenders and Jason's reign in the kitchen is still going strong.
