A pheasant hunter’s paradise. Beautiful lodge with great food and even better service. First class in every way. Plenty of birds in well laid out fields. We will definitely be back in the future.
What a 5 star experience. The lodge was extra clean, the food was outstanding and shooting pheasants was an incredible experience. The guides were very friendly and knowledgeable. Our guide Dorey was just awesome and so much fun. Safety is everyone's priority and we felt it. You must visit the lodge if you like to hunt pheasants. I will definitely be back.
You have to get over the fact that the owner is a pompous windbag, and then you can enjoy it. He's very hard on his staff and grandstands every evening at dinner. But, it's a great setting and there are a lot of birds, and the owner's passion shows in the quality service provided. It is a preserve, so the population is strongly supplemented, but it's a good preserve. Wild bird hunts are better, but you get a lot of shooting in at the preserves, so more time in the field.
